Same Day 03:36
When I get up it's another day, but I'm not really sure if it's mine I walk out the door and I straighten my tie; I gotta go and put in my time But it's the same (it's the same) the same (it's the same) the same (it's the same) Day Yeah it's the same (it's the same) the same (it's the same) the same (it's the same) Day Until I clock out, and I can go home. And I get to do what I want with all of my free time. When I get up it's another day, and I'm pretty sure I've done this before. I'm climbing the ladder; I'm towing the line. Oh when did I become such a bore? But it's the same (it's the same) the same (it's the same) the same (it's the same) Day Yeah it's the same (it's the same) the same (it's the same) the same (it's the same) Day Until I clock out, and I can go home. And i get to do what I want with all of my free time. So when I clock out and turn off my phone, I can take care of myself and clear my mind! Saturday's going too fast I need some time for myself, yeah (yeah) I've gotta go to Jimmy's party But that'll take my whole Sunday I go to sleep and it's back to the grind Until I clock out, and I can go home. And I get to do what I want with all of my free time. So when I clock out and turn off my phone, I can take care of myself and clear my mind! Until I clock out, (it's the same, it's the same) and I can go home. (it's the same day) And i get to do what I want with all of my free time. (it's the same, it's the same, it's the same day) So when I clock out (it's the same, it's the same) and turn off my phone, (it's the same day) I can take care of myself and clear my mind! (it's the same, it's the same, it's the same day)

She's Gone 05:50
Run around; try to find one another; Missed Connection; rewind; recover. Young Hearts grown together, but fell apart Call to each other over the distance He misunderstood: he thought he had a friend in her She got a hint to a question that she hadn't asked Run around; try to find one another; Missed Connection; rewind; recover. She resigned; he realized; How could she ever care, if what she wants is over there? She wrote it down and left it there. What she said (What she said) What she said he'll never know. What she said (What she said) What she said he'll never know. Connected, but never made a connection Chance after chance they missed out on To tell each other, "You're the one I want" "You're the one I want" ("you're the one I want") Should he wait for her? Will he be waiting forever? Wasting and waiting to tell her, "You're the one I want" "You're the one I want" Run around; try to find one another; Missed Connection; rewind; recover. Long times spent together,  but unaware of unseen glances Impossible chances. She had a picture of a boy in a band He got a girlfriend that he knew she couldn't stand Save me from this circle. Save me from this circle. Save me from this circle. Save me from this circle. Connected, but never made a connection Chance after chance they missed out on To tell each other, "You're the one I want" "You're the one I want" ("you're the one I want") Should she wait for him when the circumstance looks grim? Wasting and waiting to tell him, "You're the one I want" "You're the one I want"  Back in town, crowded room eyes lock and they drift together Time stops, replay old feelings And in this moment they are holding hands with other partners They make the introductions Connected, but never made a connection Chance after chance they missed out on To tell each other, "You're the one I want" "You're the one I want" ("you're the one I want") Should he wait for her? Will he be waiting forever? Wasting and waiting to tell her, "You're the one I want" "You're the one I want" ("You're the one I want")

Destructive 04:22
Let me take this slow, because you've got to know Where I'm gonna go With my flow, you're not my foe. You're stabbing blindly in the dark or trying to scare me with your bark But there's plenty of room on this boat we call life Out for taking our things, given to kings, nothing returned for the trouble it brings. Flinging your dirt, Driven to hurt, just for the name that appears on his shirt. You're just Shaking down, faking down, taking down the wrong man stunning for, gunning for, running for the strawman booking for, hooking for, looking for the fall man You're charging at a windmill you have mistaken for a strong man Destructive Self-aggrandizing You must be better than this Together we can hope to end the cycle Recognize the pattern: hatred leads to hate We've got to tear down the walls, instead of tearing down each other Rise above the manufactured divisive melodrama You don't have to spit flame just to prove your game,I know your fame You're trying hard to blame your past for more than your name Misogynistic words are piling up around excuses Without a reason to explain any of these abuses Serving the serve, building your nerve, absolving yourself on the base you're disturbed Your history's moot, in rags or a suit. It's ruining lives when you poison your fruit The inflatable ego you wear like a crown You pump yourself up on the ones you take down Through pain you cause you feel fine, powerful it's all mine Headed for a megalomaniacal red break line

Certainty without specificity Surrender unto me and spurn reality We are all (we're all) running from death Tithe yourself to me; I'll be there when you bleed The comfort that you seek just superficially We are all (we're all) running from death May you live in peace this day, may your home be with God in Zion.

My Year 04:28
Sun creeps past the blinds Into my bloodshot eyes The city sleeps in peace (I) Open the door to see Stare off into the distance This is my year I say to myself This is my year The cold air, it stings my heart Memories tear me apart What's done is done This is my year There's still much to come This is my year I can be anyone This is my year I can do anything This is my year A brand new start a new beginning New Year's Eve is a party New Year's Day is a promise The past is gone This is my year The future is unknown This is my year I can be anyone This is my year I can do anything This is my year A brand new start a new beginning I was pushed around And I fell down And I'm ashamed of what I did But I've set my goal And I'll take control Turn into something I'm proud of I can be anyone This is my year I can do anything This is my year A brand new start a new beginning
